Ramadan Abouomar, PhD, R&D Leader
Ramadan Abouomar, PhD is a dedicated scientist specializing in polymer science and engineering. He earned his doctorate from the University of Akron’s Faculty of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering. Dr. Abouomar then joined the sustainable materials group at Michigan State University’s School of Packaging to work on biomaterials for packaging applications and mechanical sensor formulation. He also contributed to the fabrication of hydrogels using microrobots. Dr. Abouomar is currently focused on developing PFAS-free omniphobic coatings and biodegradable polymer coatings for water, oil, and grease barriers, and is leading the R&D efforts at PakItGreen.
